Popularly when one thinks of Hawaii one thinks of  tropical warmth, beaches, ocean swimming, and scantily clad girls in swimming suits.  Other people think of ocean front type resort communities to semi-retire in a Disney Land type setting.   Other people think of Hawaii as up country private more rugged type beauty with forests, pasture, beautiful coastal, coast, and ocean views to retire or semi-retire in a more natural setting.
